Gear Review | Sea to Summit Day Pack

By January 7, 2015 No Comments

What weighs the same as 23 paperclips (68 grams) and can hold 180 € worth of Belgian chocolate?
My new favorite “oh, I didn’t realize I needed that until I had it” piece of equipment.

The Sea to Summit Travel Day Pack folds up into the size of a 5 Hour Energy bottle for maximum portability but can handle heavy objects like 1.5l water bottles, sunblock, shoes etc with relative ease. The straps are wide enough to disperse the weight without creating divots in your shoulders, which makes it easy to stroll around medinas with souvenirs you didn’t know you needed.

Pack light, pack smart

Which of these would be more useful on a trip?

Great for beaches given its parachute like material that sheds sand easily, but also great for that random stop to a Belgian chocolate factory (Planète Chocolat ) after which you will inevitably end up with more stuff than your normal backpack can handle – especially if you’re traveling light.

I’ve had zero zipper issues, plus it’s been easy to get back into the carrying case, no tears or rips so far either.
Price: $35

Bottom line

Light, sturdy, versatile, awesome.

*I receive no compensation for my opinions (awesome though they may be) nor awesome free swag from Sea to Summit
